The first trailer of EAFC 25 is expected to be released this week.
While EAFC 24 is currently going through the last phase of the game with Futties coming up, rumors about the new iteration of the game are beginning to show up on social media.
On X/Twitter, the user FGZNews has shared news about EAFC 25. As always, we recommend you to take the rumors with a pinch of salt.

New corner system:
You can now select which players you would like to have on the front post, back post, penalty spot, and back post.

A new option to allow players to take better control of the through balls, that are vital for so many players in the game today.

Preset tactics:
Managers now have a preset custom tactic. This allows you to deploy Jürgen Klopp’s Gegenpressing or Pep Guardiola’s possession-based play. This will make it easier for fans of the real game to emulate their favorite team or manager’s style of play.
Player instructions in-game changes:
We expect this to be a new feature, where you can change instructions in-game without having to pause the game. This could give the game a new dynamic and give an advantage to tactical smart players, that
Certain fullbacks can become “false backs/midfielders”:
We immediately think of Trent Alexander Arnold when seeing this. The Liverpool fullback has spent most of the season transitioning from his position from fullback to midfield midgame altering the formation mid-game. With the many fullbacks in the game suitable for a spot in the midfield.
New Icons and Heroes:
Alfredo Di Stéfano Arjen Robben, David Villa, Gianluigi Buffon, Gareth Bale, and Eden Hazard are some of the players, that has been rumored to be among the new Icons or Heroes in EAFC 25. Eden Hazard is especially interesting due to the fact, that Belgium has not gotten any Icons or Heroes to boost team chemistry for some of the many highly-rated Belgium players in the game.

Corridors and tunnel pack animation returns as we had in FIFA 20 and 21.

A new game mode is arriving. We don’t know much yet, but a VOLTA inspired game mode could hopefully mean that a new fun game mode is arriving to Ultimate team.
Release date of EAFC 25:
We have already made an article with all the previous release dates and our guess on a release date for EAFC 25. According to FGZ, we could however look forward to getting EAFC 25 released a week earlier than expected on the 20th of September 2024. EA has not confirmed this date yet.
