Everything we know so far about EAFC 25

EAFC 25

This is what we learned from the first trailer for EAFC 25.

EA Sports is gearing up for the release of EAFC 25, promising a host of new features and improvements. Set for early access on September 20 and official release on September 27, EAFC 25 introduces “FC IQ,” a new system designed to enhance gameplay tactics and realism. This system includes over 50 customizable player roles and real-time tactical suggestions.

In EAFC 25, Rush is an innovative new 5v5 mode available across all formats, including Kick Off, Ultimate Team, Clubs, and Career Mode. This mode replaces Volta, which now only appears as a 3v3 option in Kick Off. Rush matches last seven minutes with an additional 2:20 of golden goal if tied, followed by a penalty shootout if needed. Designed for four outfield players with an AI-controlled goalkeeper, Rush features dynamic, position-free gameplay. It retains the core mechanics of 11v11 matches but introduces unique rules like revamped kick-offs, final third offsides, and blue card sin bins for serious offenses. Penalties offer one-on-one opportunities from the “final third line,” similar to hockey shootouts. Matches take place in the futuristic Rush Stadium, created in partnership with Nike, featuring environmental effects such as colorful drone shows.

Career Mode now includes women’s football, with the top five women’s leagues and real-time seasonal updates. Ultimate Team sees the addition of Rush mode, integrating it with existing progression systems and themed events.

EAFC 25 aims to deliver a more dynamic and realistic football experience, maintaining its position as a leading soccer simulation game.
