Making the best decisions in Evolutions can be pretty tricky. These are the best players to use in evolutions.
Evolutions were introduced for the first time in EAFC24. The brand-new mode of Ultimate Team allowed users to improve any player that lived up to the requirements in the different evolution challenges. The evolutions are set up to follow a certain curve in regards to how good players can develop, so they don’t break any current meta.
Therefore, our advice for you would be to use the evolution mode to improve your favorite team, make the best team out of your nation, or perhaps elevate one of the smaller leagues in the game.
Good players to use in evolutions at the start of the game
You can use Fut.gg or Futbin.com to find players, that are suitable to use in evolution challenges. At the beginning of EAFC24, there were very few EVOs that upgraded skill moves or weak foot. Had we chosen Sweden as an example of a nation, that we wanted to improve, it could be useful to search for players with a minimum of 4-star skill moves and 4-star weak foot wen searching for players to use in Evolutions.
The six players could all be good possibilities to try and evo. Worth mentioning is, that fast-paced players such as Eliasson and Almqvist could be made redundant due to tough restrictions on speedy players. A player such as Hurtig, with very well-rounded stats, could be an excellent choice to start out with. Down below you can see the first three evolutions of last year’s game with the requirements. It is uncertain in which way EA will continue to develop evolutions, but if there is something to be learned from previous editions of the game it is, that EA pretty often recycles promotions, game modes, etc, so our guess is, that you can expect somewhat the same this year.
Hidden Gems in Evolutions
It is worth mentioning that Evolutions is often a question about the “long game”. Identifying players that could potentially evolve into beasts is part of the fun in the Evolution game mode. If we stay with our Swedish example, Ludvig Augustinsson is probably a player that few players would find relevant, but due to his stats being fairly evenly distributed, the Swedish left-back has been eligible for a lot of upgrades throughout the life cycle of EAFC 24 and would be a great option as one of the players to use in Evolutions. We recommend you use Futbin.com or FUT.gg to search for players to use in evolutions.
We encourage you to find similar players in your chosen nation, league, or team.
Should you pay for Evolution Challenges?
Here at FUTFC.gg we don’t like spending EAFC Points especially not on packs in the store, where you rarely get any value. Evolutions however could be an exemption from the rule. There is full transparency in what you get, which leaves it up to you if you want to pay points or coins for the upgrades. There are also free challenges, which you of course should exploit.
In EAFC 24 we didn’t use points on any upgrades, but we did spend coins to get the job done.
