Updated 15 October: the official stats for Rayan (90), Mainoo (89), Pubill (89) and Nathaniel Brown (87) have leaked, plus an 85-rated Manzambi SBC card for Friday. Ratings in the table are updated.
Future Stars Team 2 lands in FC 27 Ultimate Team tomorrow, Friday 16 October, at 6pm UK time. The full 15-player line-up has already leaked: Kobbie Mainoo leads it, with Franco Mastantuono, Rayan and Jorrel Hato close behind.
EA has not revealed the squad yet, but three of the biggest leak accounts posted the full team on Monday evening, and their lists match name for name. When three leakers agree on every player, the line-up is usually right. Ratings are less certain: all three label their stats as predictions, and they disagree by a point or two on most cards.

On paper this is a stronger pack team than Team 1, and the official stats back that up.
Official stats: Rayan 90, Mainoo 89
On Thursday morning AsyFutTrader and FutPoliceLeaks posted the finished cards for the top of the team:
| Player | Rating | PAC | SHO | PAS | DRI | DEF | PHY | PlayStyle+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rayan | 90 RM | 91 | 87 | 84 | 90 | 45 | 80 | not shown |
| Kobbie Mainoo | 89 CDM | 81 | 76 | 85 | 90 | 88 | 85 | |
| Marc Pubill | 89 CB | 83 | 64 | 77 | 76 | 89 | 87 | not shown |
| Nathaniel Brown | 87 LB | 92 | 64 | 81 | 87 | 83 | 75 | not shown |
Rayan is the headliner at 90, two points above the earlier predictions, with 91 pace and 90 dribbling. Mainoo’s 88 defending and 90 dribbling make him a genuine box-to-box CDM, and
Pinged Pass+ suits the quick vertical passing that the current meta rewards. Brown’s 92 pace is the standout number for a left-back.
The catch: all four sit at 87 or higher, so none of them can gain OVR from games played (see the upgrade rules below).
When does Future Stars Team 2 release?
Team 2 goes live in packs on Friday 16 October with the usual daily content drop:
- 6pm BST (UK)
- 7pm CEST (Central Europe)
- 1pm EDT / 10am PDT (US)
Team 1, headlined by Rio Ngumoha and led by Vicky López at 90, leaves packs at the same moment. If you were saving packs for a Team 1 card, you have until tomorrow evening.
If you’re sitting on coins, don’t panic-buy on Friday night. The Pre-Season Completionist rewards also pay out tomorrow, worth around 60,000 coins per player, and fresh coins plus a new promo usually mean inflated launch prices. With Ultimate Scream rumoured for next Friday, the smart move is to sell what you don’t need on Friday evening and buy your Team 2 targets over the weekend.
How Future Stars upgrades work – and which Team 2 cards can still grow
Future Stars are live cards. According to EA’s official Future Stars rules, EA tracks each player’s domestic league games from 9 October, and the upgrades are added to the cards on 3 February 2027. Cup, Champions League and international matches don’t count.
| Milestone | Upgrade |
|---|---|
| 4 league starts | +1 OVR (max 86) |
| 8 league starts | +1 OVR (max 87) |
| 7 goals + assists (ATT/MID) or 4 clean sheets (DEF/GK) | +1 PlayStyle+ |
| 10 goals + assists (ATT/MID) or 7 clean sheets (DEF/GK) | 5★ weak foot |
In the NWSL, MLS, Liga MX and Argentina’s Liga Profesional the bar is much lower: 2 and 3 starts for the rating boosts, and only 2 and 4 goal contributions (or 2 and 3 clean sheets) for the PlayStyle+ and weak foot.
That changes how you should look at Team 2. The starts upgrades stop at 87, so if the leaked ratings are right, at least five cards (Mainoo, Pubill, Rayan, Mastantuono and Brown) can’t gain any OVR from games played. They can only add a PlayStyle+ and a fifth weak-foot star. The real upgrade candidates are the 85–86 rated cards:
- Tresoldi, Brunner, Kanjinga and Peio Canales can each gain up to +2 OVR if they keep starting league games.
- Gisele Thompson is the stand-out. She plays in the NWSL, so she needs only 2 starts for her first boost and 3 for the second. As a right-back, 2 Angel City clean sheets with her on the pitch would also unlock a PlayStyle+.
Note that the position on the card decides which group a player is in. Mainoo is a CDM, so he upgrades on clean sheets, not goals.
SBCs and objectives still to come
The same leakers have also revealed a second batch of Future Stars cards. These are tipped to arrive through SBCs and objectives instead of packs:
- Manzambi is first: AsyFutTrader has leaked his official card, an 85 CAM (84 PAC, 84 SHO, 82 PAS, 89 DRI) tipped as Friday’s SBC alongside Team 2.
- Headliners at around 85:
Manzambi,
Julio Enciso,
Diao and
Gruda. - Around 84: William Gomes, Flávio Gonçalves, Mathias de Amorim, Gilberto, Tsakiris, Johnson, Duah, Westfield, Jackson, Rader, Tordin and Van Zanten.
- Only one leaker: Delgado.
None of these have release dates yet, so expect them to be spread across the rest of the promo.
Already live: Future Stars SBCs worth a look
If you can’t wait until Friday, these Future Stars SBCs are in the game right now (prices from fut.gg this morning):
- Xavi Espart (85 CDM, also plays LB/RB/CM) – around 31,000 coins. Expires in 5 days. The community verdict is overwhelmingly positive. For a versatile midfielder at this price it’s one of the best-value SBCs of the promo so far.
- Carlos Espí (85 ST) – around 37,000 coins.
- EFL Championship Future Stars Pick – around 13,000 coins. Expires in 2 days.
- Süper Lig Future Stars Pick – around 10,000 coins. Expires in 4 days.
What else arrives with Team 2
According to EA’s Future Stars roadmap, week two of the promo also brings:
- The PlayStyle+ Lab. The PlayStyles Lab levels up, and the first UEFA Star Performers are eligible for PlayStyle+ upgrades from 17 October.
- New Live Events: the second Ultimate Gauntlet and a new Flash Rush event.
- The final Future Stars Academy step. If you enrolled an eligible young ST or CAM on 9 October, your Academy card reaches its full 85 OVR version this week.
