EA Sports has kicked off the hype train for FC 25’s Team of the Season with a series of leaked and confirmed SBCs, Evolutions, and pack additions that are making the community buzz. From affordable Evolutions to powerful SBC packs and the return of daily logins, it’s clear EA is setting up a big warm-up week leading into the most anticipated promo of the year.
A major part of the excitement comes from a new Evolution called Defensive Driver, which only costs 25,000 coins and includes some of the best defensive PlayStyles like Intercept Plus, Bruiser, and Aerial. It boosts a defender’s physical and defensive stats up to 91, making it ideal for chaining Evolutions across positions such as CB, CDM, RB or LB.
Players like Verón and Rüdiger are being reconsidered by many FUT players because of this EVO. Rüdiger’s Winter Wildcards item, for instance, is spiking in price due to its compatibility with this EVO, while Saliba’s gold card can now be morphed into a high-end meta defender when combined with the “President” EVO.

One of the biggest standouts is the 93+ x5 EFIGS TOTS players pack, which guarantees five players rated 93 or above from the Premier League, Ligue 1, Serie A, Bundesliga or La Liga. This pack is expected to be tied to seasonal progression objectives, similar to season completion rewards from earlier promos.
Another notable leak isthe 82+ x10 EFIGS players pack, a pack that will likely be available as an SBC and is perfect for saving until your favorite league drops. A full list of guaranteed TOTS packs has also appeared, covering men’s and women’s leagues like the Premier League, Liga F, NWSL, Bundesliga, and more.
The leak also introduced two new terms: TOTS Highlights and TOTS Honorable Mentions. These are believed to be replacing last year’s “TOTS Moments”. Highlights are rumored to celebrate individual performances, such as record-breaking matches or impressive milestones.
For example, EA leaker ASY suggests a Highlights card might be given to players like Doku, who set a dribbling record in the Premier League, or Solanke, who bagged two hat-tricks for Bournemouth. These cards will reportedly be included in the same guaranteed TOTS packs as regular and Honorable Mention items.

Even though the pack isn’t a player pick and includes some weaker pulls, it still provides value if you have untradeables lying around.
EA also dropped the standard 84×7 Pack and 83 of 10 Player Pick, both of which are seeing some decent returns for fodder hunters. Informs are starting to rise slightly due to repeated SBC usage, although they remain a medium to long-term investment.
Meanwhile, a Future Stars Samuel Eto’o SBC is reportedly incoming. While it’s not a new item, it fits the theme of Team of the Season warm-up, bringing back expensive and rare cards via SBCs. He carries two PlayStyle+ traits and excellent stats, but many players will skip it until fodder becomes cheaper during TOTS.
