There is no FC 27 maintenance today. EA has a short maintenance from 10:00 to 10:15 UTC (12:00–12:15 CEST) on 16 October, but it only affects FC 24 and FC 25.

So far, EA has not announced a single maintenance window for FC 27 since early access opened on 18 September. All maintenance this season has been for the older games.

How to check if FC 27 servers are down

Check @EASFCDirect on X. EA’s official support account posts every maintenance window and outage first, usually 12–24 hours before planned work.
Check EA’s server status page. EA Help’s server status shows the status for FC 27 on every platform.
Check Downdetector. If thousands of players report problems at the same time, it’s a real outage, not your connection.
Check this page. We update the status card above whenever EA reports a problem.

If EA and Downdetector both look normal, the problem is most likely on your side.

Why FC 27 servers go down

Planned maintenance. EA usually takes the servers down on a weekday morning UK time, often a Wednesday. Match creation is switched off 30 minutes before the start, so you can’t start a new Rivals or Champions game in that window.
Big content drops. Friday promos at 6pm UK and the daily 6pm content can overload the servers for a few minutes, especially in packs and the transfer market.
Title Updates. Larger patches sometimes need a short downtime, and you often have to restart the game before a fix works.
Local problems. Your internet provider, PlayStation Network, Xbox Live or the EA app can be down even when EA’s own servers are fine.

What to do if you can’t connect to FC 27

Restart the game and, on console, close it fully instead of just going back to the home screen.
Check PSN, Xbox Live or the EA app status. A platform outage looks exactly like an EA outage.
Restart your router or switch to a wired connection.
Check for an update. If a Title Update is out, you can’t play online until it’s installed.
Wait out maintenance. During planned maintenance, logging in again and again won’t get you in sooner. Check the end time on @EASFCDirect.

During a FUT Champions weekend, an outage can cost you matches, so check this page before you start a long session on a Friday or Saturday.

Are FC 27 servers down right now?

No. As of 16 October 2026 at 15:00 CEST, there is no known FC 27 outage and no FC 27 maintenance scheduled. Check the status card at the top for the latest.

When is the next FC 27 maintenance?

EA has not announced any FC 27 maintenance yet. EA usually posts maintenance times on @EASFCDirect 12–24 hours before, and we add them here as soon as they’re out.

Why can’t I connect to FC 27 Ultimate Team?

If EA reports no problems, the cause is usually your connection, a platform outage (PSN, Xbox Live, EA app) or a pending update. Restart the game, check your platform’s status and install any new update.
