Updated: 16 October 2026.
Ultimate Scream is coming to FC 27 on Friday 23 October at 6pm UK (7pm CEST), according to the leakers FutSheriff and AsyFutTrader. It is also the theme of FC 27 Season 2, and the first Ultimate Scream cards have already leaked from the Season Pass, led by an 88 Karchaoui. Here is everything we know so far.
When does Ultimate Scream come out in FC 27?
Ultimate Scream Team 1 is expected on Friday 23 October 2026 at 6pm UK. FutSheriff calls it “confirmed as a promo next Friday”, and AsyFutTrader says the same. EA has not announced it yet, but two leakers backing the same date is usually a safe bet.
The timing fits last year almost perfectly. In FC 26, Ultimate Scream Team 1 arrived on Friday 24 October 2025 and Team 2 a week later on 31 October.
FC 27 Season 2 is Ultimate Scream
AsyFutTrader has leaked a screenshot of the Season 2 track, and the whole season is themed around Ultimate Scream. The leak shows 29 days on the clock, and EA promises Ultimate Scream player items, “haunting upgrades” and elite PlayStyle Evolution consumables. All packs in the Premium Pass are tradeable, which is good news for anyone who wants to sell.
| Level | Reward | Pass |
|---|---|---|
| 27 | Ultimate Scream Thompson 86 | Free |
| 27 | Pack | Premium |
| 28–29 | Packs | Free + Premium |
| 30 | Ultimate Scream Fermín 87 CAM | Free |
| 30 | Ultimate Scream Karchaoui 88 CM or an 86 x3 pack (tradeable) | Premium |
The headliner is Sakina Karchaoui 88 CM
with 90 pace, 89 passing and 89 dribbling. That’s a box-to-box card with real speed, and she’s yours if you take the Premium Pass to level 30. If you don’t need her, the tradeable 86 x3 pick is the better choice for coins.
How Ultimate Scream upgrades work
Ultimate Scream cards don’t get a normal overall upgrade. In FC 26 the promo worked like this:
- A random 99 stat: each card got 99 in one face stat, such as pace or shooting, for seven days.
- Full moon upgrades: the boosts were tied to real full moons. The first one also added a permanent Role+ upgrade, and a later one added Role++.
- Two teams: Team 2 arrived a week after Team 1, and both teams got the same upgrades.
A guaranteed “Ultimate Scream Team 1” pack has already been spotted in FC 27, so expect at least two teams again. The next full moons are on 26 October and 24 November, which are the most likely dates for the upgrades if EA repeats the idea. KillerFutCoins expects the same mix of a temporary 99 stat and a permanent Role+ upgrade.
We think this is one of the most fun promos of the year. Random 99 stats make the cards silly in the best way, and the permanent Role+ upgrades mean they stay useful after the boost runs out.
How to prepare for Ultimate Scream
- Sell before Friday 6pm. Meta cards usually drop when the promo packs go live. Season 2 rewards also add fresh cards to the market.
- Keep 84–86 rated fodder. Ultimate Scream SBCs will push fodder prices up on Friday evening.
- Save your Season Pass XP. If you’re close to a level, finishing Season 1 objectives before Thursday 22 October means you don’t lose rewards.
- Don’t panic-buy on day one. The 99 boost is temporary. Buy for the permanent card, not the one week of 99.
Ultimate Scream leaks
No Ultimate Scream Team 1 player line-up has leaked yet. FutSheriff, AsyFutTrader and FutPoliceLeaks usually post the first names on Tuesday or Wednesday before release, so expect the first leaks around 20–21 October. We’ll add every leaked player here, and you can follow all leaks on our FC 27 leaks page.
FC 27 Ultimate Scream: FAQ
When does Ultimate Scream come out in FC 27?
Ultimate Scream Team 1 is expected on Friday 23 October 2026 at 6pm UK (7pm CEST). Two leakers back the date, but EA has not announced it yet.
How do Ultimate Scream upgrades work?
In FC 26, each Ultimate Scream card got a random 99 in one face stat for seven days, linked to a full moon, plus permanent Role+ and later Role++ upgrades. FC 27 is expected to work the same way, but EA has not confirmed it.
Can you get Ultimate Scream Karchaoui for free?
Not quite. Ultimate Scream Karchaoui 88 is the level 30 reward on the Premium track of the leaked Season 2 pass, so you need the Premium Pass. Free-track players get Ultimate Scream Fermín 87 at the same level. You choose between her and a tradeable 86 x3 pack.
