Bruno Fernandes has earned the Premier League Player of the Month award for March 2025 after a series of outstanding performances. EA Sports FC 25 has released a special 89-rated POTM Bruno Fernandes Squad Building Challenge (SBC) in Ultimate Team to celebrate his achievement.
Bruno’s March 2025 Performance – Premier League POTM Winner
March 2025 was a spectacular month for Bruno Fernandes on the pitch. According to Manchester United’s official site, Bruno scored six goals in five games across all competitions in March
manutd.com. In the Premier League alone, he was directly involved in all four goals Manchester United scored that month
manutd.com. This included a stunning 25-yard free-kick in a 1-1 draw with Arsenal and a last-minute goal in a 3-0 victory at Leicester City
manutd.com. In the Leicester match, Bruno also provided two assists (setting up goals for Rasmus Højlund and Alejandro Garnacho), earning Man of the Match honors in both games.
This run of form made Bruno a clear candidate for the Premier League Player of the Month. In fact, he had already won Manchester United’s internal Player of the Month award for March. By contributing multiple goals and assists and consistently leading the team, Bruno beat out nominees like Anthony Elanga, Nikola Milenković, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Declan Rice, and Jan Paul van Hecke to clinch the Premier League POTM award for March 2025. It’s Bruno’s fifth time winning the Premier League POTM (his first four all came in 2020), putting him in elite company alongside club legends who have achieved multiple POTM awards

Is POTM Bruno Fernandes Worth It?
For around 47k coins, Bruno Fernandes’s March 2025 POTM card offers excellent value
futbin.com. You get a highly versatile CAM/CM who can score, assist, and even defend. His real-life performances in March were phenomenal, and this card translates much of that ability into Ultimate Team. With top-tier passing, great shooting, and a host of elite PlayStyles (including the coveted Long Ball Pass+), Bruno can elevate your midfield’s creativity. He’s also a popular player for Manchester United or Premier League squads, and this POTM version is significantly cheaper than his special event cards on the market.
If you need a playmaking midfielder, POTM Bruno is absolutely worth completing. He fits the meta as a creative CAM who can also press and come back to help in midfield. Even if you eventually replace him with a higher-rated card, you might consider completing him for future Evolution campaigns or simply to have a strong untradeable Portuguese/PL midfielder in your club. The SBC requirements are straightforward (no special cards needed) and can be done gradually with fodder.
Is Bruno Fernandes POTM worth completing?
Bruno Fernandes’ March 2025 POTM card isa solid addition to your Ultimate Team — especially if you’re running a Premier League or Portuguese squad. With a price tag of around 47K coins and three manageable SBC segments, this card isn’t breaking the meta, but it offers real value if you consider long-term potential.
POTM SBCs aren’t typically designed to introduce overpowered content into the game. This Bruno card is not an elite-level CAM right out of the gate, but it serves a strategic role — a technically gifted, playstyle-rich card that can shine in the right systems or evolve well with future upgrades.
“POTM SBCs don’t really do anything too crazy. That’s why we don’t really review them that often anymore.” – Inception FC
The value here isn’t just what Bruno can do now — it’s what he might become with the right Evolutions or future boosts.

Bruno Fernandes POTM Stats & PlayStyle+ Breakdown
This version of Bruno Fernandes is rated 89 and features impressive stats in passing (92), shooting (90), and dribbling (89) making him a dangerous creator in the CAM role.
What makes this POTM card unique is the Shadow Striker+ PlayStyle+, which he doesn’t have on many of his other versions. This gives him a noticeable edge in attacking positions, especially when arriving late into the box. Combined with Dead Ball+, Long Ball Pass, First Touch, Relentless, and Flair, Bruno becomes a high-IQ passer and creative outlet, even in tightly marked situations.
“Honestly, he has a lot of really nice base mechanic stuff for the CAM position.” Source: Inception FC
However, he lacks any defensive PlayStyles, which limits his versatility as a box-to-box CM unless heavily evolved or given a Shadow chemistry style.
His AcceleRATE type is Mostly Explosive, and he carries a 4★ skill / 4★ weak foot combo, offering flexibility but not elite-level sharpness. With a Hunter, Finisher, or Engine chemistry style, you can boost either his pace, shooting, or passing, but even with boosts, his pace remains only moderate unless evolved.
How does Bruno Fernandes perform in-game?
In testing, Bruno was deployed with a Hunter chemistry style to enhance his shooting and pace. His distribution felt elite, with precise through balls, accurate long passes, and clean link-up play. The Shadow Striker+ also made a noticeable impact when arriving in scoring positions.
That said, finishing wasn’t consistent, especially under pressure or without green timing. His pace often felt lacking, particularly when trying to sprint past defenders or during high-tempo counters. While his ball control was decent, some first-touch delays were observed.
“His base mechanic performance is solid — particularly his distribution — but a lack of pace and finishing consistency shows up often unless he’s evolved or chemistry-boosted.” Inception FC
Bruno excels in structured build-up play but feels out of his depth when the pace of play ramps up. His AI positioning can also be hit-or-miss, occasionally failing to make intelligent runs or getting stuck behind defenders in tight spots.

Completing the Bruno Fernandes SBC requires three squads:
1. Manchester United
- Min. 1 Manchester United Player
- Squad Rating: Min. 84
- Reward: Small Gold Players Pack
- Luka Modrić (86) – High-rated midfielder to raise squad rating
- Willi Orban (83) – Cheap 83-rated defender
- Kim Little (86) – Another 86-rated card (Women’s FUT, Arsenal) for rating
- André Onana (83) – Manchester United GK (fulfills the Man Utd requirement)
- Kieran Trippier (83) – 83-rated RB
- Teun Koopmeiners (83) – 83-rated CM

- Domenico Berardi (83) – 83-rated RW
- Youssef En-Nesyri (83) – 83-rated ST
- Lucas Hernández (83) – 83-rated LB
This squad uses two 86-rated players (Modrić and Little) and nine 83-rated players, which brings the team rating to the required 84. Onana is included as the mandatory Manchester United player. The estimated cost for this segment is around 12,000–13,000 coins, and you’ll receive a Small Gold Players Pack for completing it.
2. Portugal
- Min. 1 Portuguese Player
- Squad Rating: Min. 84
- Reward: Small Gold Players Pack
- Luka Modrić (86)
- Diogo Costa (84) – Portuguese GK (Porto) to satisfy the Portugal player requirement
- Kim Little (86)
- André Onana (83)
- Kieran Trippier (83)
- Teun Koopmeiners (83)
- Damaris Egurrola (83)
- Saki Kumagai (83)
- Domenico Berardi (83)
- Youssef En-Nesyri (83)
- Lucas Hernández (83)
By swapping Diogo Costa (84) in place of an 83 (such as Willi Orban), we include a Portuguese player and still hit the 84 team rating. (Costa provides the Portugal requirement; Onana remains as a common cheap 83 but isn’t required by club here.) The cost again is roughly 12k–13k coins. Completing this segment grants another Small Gold Players Pack.
3. Premier League
- Min. 1 Premier League Player
- Squad Rating: Min. 85
- Reward: Jumbo Gold Pack
- Kim Little (86) – (Arsenal WSL, counts as an 86-rated card but NOTE: Women’s cards from WSL do not count as Premier League; we include Little purely for rating here.)
- Trent Alexander-Arnold (86) – Liverpool RB, 86-rated (Premier League player)
- Jonathan Tah (86) – 86-rated CB (Bundesliga)
- Luka Modrić (86) – 86-rated CM
- João Palhinha (85) – 85-rated CDM (Fulham, Premier League, also Portuguese)
- Josema Giménez (83) – 83-rated CB
- Lucas Hernández (83) – 83-rated LB
- Guido Rodríguez (83) – 83-rated CDM
- Kai Havertz (83) – 83-rated CAM (Arsenal, Premier League)
- Cata Coll (83) – 83-rated GK
- Youssef En-Nesyri (83) – 83-rated ST
This solution uses four 86-rated cards and one 85-rated card, with the rest 83s, to reach the 85 overall rating. We’ve included at least three Premier League players: Alexander-Arnold, Palhinha, and Havertz (any one of them would satisfy the min 1 Premier League requirement, but all are cheap fodder so it’s fine to include multiple). The estimated cost of this squad is around 22k–25k coins. Finishing this segment rewards you with a Jumbo Gold Pack.
Total SBC Cost:
🟦 PS/Xbox – 47.1K | 💻 PC – 40.7K

After completing all three segments, you’ll unlock the untradeable 89 OVR Bruno Fernandes POTM card for your club. In total you’ll have spent roughly 45–50k (less if you use untradeable fodder from your club), and you’ll get the three packs (Small Gold Players Pack x2 + Jumbo Gold Pack) as extra bonuses that could return some value.
Should you complete Bruno Fernandes POTM for future Evolutions
This is where the real appeal lies.
While the POTM Bruno may not dominate in the current meta, he’s an excellent candidate for future Evolutions. If EA releases an Evolution path that boosts defending, agility, and dribbling, this card could transform into an elite attacking CM or CAM.
“The whole situation of this card is potential you can work with in the future based off of Evolutions.”
He’s already got several key PlayStyles — all he needs is some stat support and a few meta PlayStyle+ additions like Intercept+ or Tiki Taka+. Players who want to invest now and future-proof their squad will benefit from having Bruno ready in their club for Evolutions later this season.
