First Investment Strategy

When FC25 drops, the key is not just which players you invest in, but when you invest. After researching last year’s trends, here’s a breakdown of the players and times to make your moves.

Web App Investments

First things first—if you’re using the FC25 web app, you’ll want to start by investing in French and Premier League players priced between 2,000 and 5,000 coins. Players like Ibrahima Konaté, Anthony, and Benrahma are prime examples. If you invested in these last year, you’d have seen prices surge, making substantial profits. For instance:

  • Konaté: 2K to 5.6K
  • Anthony: 1.5K to 4K
  • Benrahma: 5K to 8K

Make sure to sell these players before the Ultimate Edition release, as the market tends to crash post-release.

Ultimate Edition Strategy

For the Ultimate Edition release, timing is key. Investing right when the Ultimate Edition drops and selling within a few days can double or even triple your coins. For instance, Christopher Nkunku saw a significant drop from 175K to 50K, only to bounce back up to 98K a few days later. By buying during the dip and selling a few days later, you can make huge profits.

High-Profit Player Investments

Here are some other players to consider investing in during the Ultimate Edition:

  • Christopher Nkunku: Dropped to 50K and later rose to 100K.
  • Aitana Bonmatí: Plummeted to 95K but skyrocketed to 196K within days.

But it’s not just about who you buy—it’s when you buy them. The best time to invest is between 11 PM and 1 AM UK time (GMT), as this is when the lowest prices tend to occur.

What to Avoid: Low-Value Cards

Cards priced around 20K to 30K (like Saint-Maximin and Vlahović) tend to hold steady or even decrease in value because there’s an equal supply and demand. Avoid investing in these low-value cards as they don’t yield significant profits.

Best Cards to Invest In: 40K to 80K Range

The sweet spot for making profits is in the 40K to 80K range. For example:

  • Kyle Walker: 80K to 134K
  • Raphaël Varane: 65K to 150K

These cards often see significant rises due to increased demand and limited supply. Aim for cards in this price range for the best return on investment.

Higher-End Investments

For players who want to invest in higher-value cards, anything over 120K can still yield profits, but they won’t rise as drastically. Take Ousmane Dembélé, for instance, who only increased from 220K to 280K. If you’re looking for better returns, stick to the 40K to 80K range or focus on Hero and Icon cards.

Selling Strategy

The key to selling your cards is knowing when the market is about to crash. In previous years, cards would steadily rise until the Ultimate Edition. However, last year, cards peaked three days before the release. Watch for any sign of the market plateauing—when prices stop rising daily—and sell your investments to avoid losses.
