FC 27 Road to the Knockouts Team 1: the cards

The team covers four competitions: the Champions League, the Europa League, the Conference League and the Women’s Champions League. EA’s team graphics show the same 30 players and ratings as the official stats leak from Wednesday, so nothing was cut or swapped at the last minute.

RTTK Team 1, the 88+ cards (PAC · SHO · PAS · DRI · DEF · PHY)

Sakina Karchaoui	PSG	RM	88	90 · 79 · 88 · 89 · 81 · 74

The other 19 cards are rated 85 to 87, from Doku, Leão, Lukaku and Conceição at 87 down to Soulé, Veiga and the Conference League defenders at 85. The full list with face stats is in our RTTK Team 1 article.

The cards worth chasing

• Dembélé 91 ST: 91 pace, 90 shooting and 94 dribbling. The most complete attacker in the team.
• Bellingham 91 CAM: 90 shooting with 81 defending and 86 physical, so he also works as a box to box CM.
• Llorente 88 RB: 92 pace and 83 shooting on a right back.
• Chawinga 89 LW: 95 pace and 84 shooting, the pick of the women’s cards.

The RTTK SBC: Loïs Openda 85 LW

Openda is the first Road to the Knockouts SBC, in the orange Europa League design for Lyon. The leak on Thursday listed him as a striker, but the in-game card is an 85 LW with ST, CAM and LM as alternate positions.

Road to the Knockouts SBC, Fri 6 Nov

Player	Club	Pos	OVR	Face stats	Price (PS, 19:10 CET)	Expires
Loïs Openda	Lyon	LW	85	95 · 83 · 72 · 83 · 32 · 79	about 98K	Fri 13 Nov

It is one challenge, and 95 pace with 3-star skills and a 4-star weak foot is a lot to pay 98K for when Team 1 is full of 87+ attackers. His value depends on Lyon’s Europa League results, so wait until the price settles over the weekend.

Calafiori 86 LB and Brobbey 85 ST, also leaked with upgrade paths, are not out yet. Our RTTK SBC leaks have their upgrade paths.

Objectives: Buendía and Ultimate Gauntlet 3

• Road to the Knockouts Event: four objectives with RTTK Emiliano Buendía as the reward, plus packs, for 7 days. EA describes it as a Single Player Live Event: themed opponents on each difficulty in first to three matches.
• Ultimate Gauntlet 3: complete 8 of 10 challenges for an untradeable Aleix García, also 7 days.
• Matchday Marksman Evo: for RW and RM cards up to 80 OVR, with shooting, dribbling and passing boosts.
• Intercept Evo: a PlayStyle evo for cards up to 80 OVR.

EA also says a themed Rush event, more RTTK SBCs, Evolutions and objectives will arrive during the week, and Star Performers items release on Monday 9 November.

How the Road to the Knockouts upgrades work

EA confirms that RTTK cards upgrade with their club’s goals, wins and league position, right through to the final game of the league phase. The exact steps below come from the leaked upgrade graphics.

If tracking starts at release, as the leaks say, the men’s cards have four matchdays left: 24 to 25 November, 8 to 9 December and two in late January. The women’s cards play again from 10 November. So the card you pack today matters far more than the upgrade.

What left the game

Ultimate Scream left packs at the drop, but its Token Store stays open until about 13 November, and the Reijnders SBC has expired. Everything on the promo is in our Ultimate Scream hub. EA’s next FUT Developer Notes come on Wednesday 11 November, followed by a Discord Q&A on Friday 13 November.
