FC 27 Road to the Knockouts cards upgrade with their club’s European results until the end of the league phase. This tracker follows all 33 RTTK items live: wins and games with a goal since the cards came out, each club’s place in the league phase table, and which upgrades EA has already added to the card in game.

How Road to the Knockouts upgrades work
RTTK upgrades are team based: the player does not have to score or even play. Only league phase games in the competition on the card count, according to EA’s Road to the Knockouts article.

The two face stats depend on the position on the card:

A card that hits all three gets +1 OVR, +1 to two face stats and an extra PlayStyle, so Dembélé, Bellingham and Pedri can reach 92.
When do the games start counting?
Only games played after the release on Friday 6 November at 6pm UK count. The RTTK objectives in game confirm it, so earlier wins and goals do not help, even for clubs like PSG and Real Madrid with four wins from four. Those earlier league phase results still show in each card’s history, greyed out, and they do count for the final table and the +1 OVR.
That means the men’s cards have a long wait. The last European nights before release were 3 to 5 November, and after the international break the next games are:
The Champions League and Europa League have four league phase games left, the Conference League three and the Women’s Champions League three. A men’s Champions League club needs three wins from four games for the PlayStyle, so a single defeat makes it tight.
Which RTTK cards are on course for +1 OVR
The OVR boost comes from the final table, so it is only decided after the last league phase game. As of 7 November, 15 of the 33 cards play for clubs in the qualifying spots:
- Champions League (top 8): PSG (Dembélé) are 1st and Real Madrid (Bellingham) 2nd, both with four wins from four. Barcelona (Pedri) are 5th, Aston Villa (Buendía) 6th, Man City (Doku) 7th and Liverpool (Gravenberch) 8th.
- Europa League (top 8): Juventus (Conceição) are 5th and Leverkusen (Aleix García) 7th.
- Conference League (top 8): Twente (Taha) are 3rd, Monaco (Lamine Camara) 4th and Brighton (De Cuyper) 5th.
- Women’s Champions League (top 4): Barcelona (Bonmatí), OL Lyonnes (Chawinga), Arsenal (Reuteler) and Chelsea (Thompson) fill the top four.
Bayern Munich (Luis Díaz) are only 13th, and Atlético Madrid (Llorente), Napoli (Anguissa) and Porto (Gabri Veiga) are outside the top 20, so those cards need a strong finish. Pick “Best league phase position” in the tracker for the live order.
EA adds the upgrades as they are earned
Like Destined for Glory, RTTK upgrades do not wait until the end. EA adds the PlayStyle and the stat boost once a club reaches the target, usually a few days after the game. The tracker marks an upgrade as “Earned” when the club has reached it, and “On the card” when EA has added it in game. The +1 OVR comes after the final league phase night.

Do Road to the Knockouts players need to play to upgrade?
No. The upgrades come from the club’s results, so a card upgrades even if the player is injured or on the bench.
Do domestic league or cup games count for RTTK upgrades?
No. Only league phase games in the competition on the card count: Champions League, Europa League, Conference League or Women’s Champions League. Knockout games after the league phase do not add upgrades.
When will RTTK cards get their +1 OVR?
After the last league phase game: 16 December for the Women’s Champions League, 17 December for the Conference League, and 27 and 28 January 2027 for the Champions League and Europa League. EA usually adds it within a few days.
