The Festival of Football Captains promotion is shaping up to be one of the most exciting drops of the season in EA Sports FC 26. The promo appears to center around players who are or have been captains for their national teams, celebrating leadership on the international stage with major upgrades, new PlayStyle Plus abilities and several top tier cards that will impact the meta from day one.

Some of the biggest names in the entire game feature in this promo. Kylian Mbappé, Virgil van Dijk and Cristiano Ronaldo lead the way, while high end players like Donnarumma and Ewa Pajor look set to become extremely popular. Pajor is already being called the new Claudia Pina thanks to her Low Driven PlayStyle Plus and excellent all round attacking stats.

There are also some very interesting upgrades deeper in the list. Bernardo Silva has been given a massive pace boost, Tchouaméni looks like a complete CDM with elite defensive and physical presence, and Andy Robertson finally moves into the usable tier at left back after a well deserved boost.
