A new Festival of Football Captains icon card design has leaked and immediately caught the community’s attention. The layout is heavily inspired by the bold Zlatan Ibrahimovic styling seen in past promotional graphics, which has players wondering whether a captains-themed icon drop is coming to FC 26.
What makes this leak stand out is the silence around it. No players are rumoured. No names have leaked. Only the design exists, which hints that EA are preparing something separate from the standard promo team.
If you want all leaked captains promo players, you can find them here.
With no leaks pointing to who could receive an icon item, speculation ranges from a single SBC release to a late-week mini drop or even an icon evo path. The timing and level of polish on the card design suggest the reveal might arrive mid-promo.

Alongside the icon leak, a strong center back evolution is set to drop. It includes:
Anticipate plus
Intercept
Bruiser
A large pace boost
Max rating 84
Max pace 87
Around 40k cost
Cards like Arujo, Murillo and Ibanez fit perfectly, which explains their price spikes. Selling hype is still the safest move since these cards often fall once the evo goes live.
Flashback Di Maria and Renard bring strong SBC options

Harder to link but excellent value if priced under 200k.
Flashback Wendy Renard
6’2
Anticipate plus
Aerial fortress
A pace boost into the 70s or 80s
A very usable women’s CB if priced well.
