Players who pre-ordered FC 26 received a set of Debut Icons at launch. These cards will automatically transform into upgraded Champions Icons on 27 November, giving each player a significant boost in face card stats.
The upgrades look strong overall, but there are still many unknowns. We do not know how skill moves or weak foot will be distributed on the Champions Icons. Physical feel on the pitch will depend on hidden stats like Acceleration and Sprint Speed splits, which matter a lot for players such as Giorgio Chiellini. His Champions Icon shows 80 pace, but if the acceleration number ends up low, he can still feel slower than expected.

How the Upgrades Work
Each Champions Icon keeps the same height and body type. Every version gains a higher overall rating and improved face stats, and each receives a new playstyle plus. Because we do not know the new skill move and weak foot values, the comparison focuses only on the confirmed face stats.

What to Expect on 27 November
Most Champions Icons receive strong boosts that make them usable in Weekend League, Rivals and Champs Playoffs. The biggest winners are Ronaldo, Iniesta, Ibrahimović and Marcelo, but players like Chiellini and Jones could be powerful meta options if their hidden stats match their face upgrades.
