Ultimate Scream Nick Woltemade is the newest player SBC in FC 27 Ultimate Team. The 85-rated Juventus CAM went live on Friday 23 October and costs about 70,000 coins today. He is 198 cm tall with 90 Vision, 87 Finishing and a smart set of PlayStyles, but he is slow to get going. Three creators tested him, and all three liked him more than the community did.

Woltemade SBC: cost and requirements
- Cost: about 69,900 coins on the cheapest route (Saturday 24 October, 13:17 CEST).
- Requirements: one challenge with a squad score target of 50,000 and a minimum rating of 45
- Released: Friday 23 October, 19:00 CEST
- Expires: Friday 30 October
- Repeatable: no, and the card is untradeable
The creators judged him at 50,000 to 60,000 coins on release night. Fodder has climbed since Ultimate Scream started, so he now costs more than that. With six days left, there is no rush.
Woltemade’s card: the good and the bad
- Positions: CAM and ST
- Skills / weak foot: 4★ / 4★
- Height / AcceleRATE: 198 cm, Lengthy
- PlayStyles: Low Driven Shot, Gamechanger, Incisive Pass, Tiki Taka and Press Proven (no PlayStyle+)
The good: 90 Vision and 91 Long Passing with Incisive Pass and Tiki Taka make him a real playmaker, not just a big target. 87 Finishing, 86 Shot Power and 86 Long Shots with Low Driven Shot and Gamechanger give him reliable shooting. 84 Jumping, 83 Strength and 91 Stamina at 198 cm make him a strong hold-up player.
The bad: 81 Acceleration with a Lengthy AcceleRATE means he takes a few yards to reach top speed. 80 Agility and 78 Balance make him clunky in tight spaces. He has no Finesse Shot, so curled finishes are less reliable.
What the creators say
Viperlization played him up front, ideally as a False 9 or Advanced Forward, and calls his passing exquisite. He liked the shooting and the hold-up play, but found him too slow to run in behind and clunky on the left stick. He would not put him with the very best cards, but says: “I genuinely think this card is worth taking a punt on.”
InceptionFC scored about ten goals in four games with him and says he is more fun than he looks on paper. He found him better at ST than CAM and liked the driven shots and quick little touches. His complaint is that Woltemade sometimes holds back on runs, even on a Hunter.
Futcard Review gives him 8.8 out of 10 and calls him a buy. He praises the physicality, the passing and the all-round profile, but would have liked better agility, more pace and Finesse Shot.
What the community thinks
| Poll | Positive | Votes | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Poll A | 61% | 740 | ~69.9K |
| Poll B | 75% | ~570 | ~69.5K |
The community is more split than the creators. Some voters were unhappy with the choice of card, and a tall, slow striker is not for everyone.
Our verdict: worth it if you play a target striker
Do Woltemade if you want a big striker who can also pass, especially in a Serie A or Germany squad. All three creators came away positive, and he is far cheaper than the September POTMs. Play him at ST rather than CAM.
If you need pace in behind, skip him. A Lengthy 81 Acceleration striker will not win foot races, and the creators who loved him most used him as a False 9 or target man.
