The football gaming community was buzzing today after FUT POLICE LEAKS revealed the FC 26 Beta ratings for two of the sport’s greatest legends. According to the leak, Cristiano Ronaldo has been rated 85, while Lionel Messi earns an 87 overall rating in the test version of EA Sports’ upcoming game.
🚨 Leaked FC 26 Beta Ratings (via FUT POLICE LEAKS):
- Lionel Messi: 87
- Cristiano Ronaldo: 85
- Kylian Mbappé: 90
Notably, Mbappé leads all players at 90, with no one hitting a 91 rating in the beta, signaling a possible ratings compression by EA.
🔍 Did EA Get It Right?
Lionel Messi – 87
Messi may be playing in MLS with Inter Miami, but he continues to impress both domestically and internationally. He played a key role in Argentina’s recent Copa América campaign and remains highly influential on the pitch. While no longer at the 90+ mark of his prime, an 87 rating keeps him in elite company.
Cristiano Ronaldo – 85
Ronaldo’s drop to 85 has stirred debate. While playing in the Saudi Pro League, he remains a high-level goal scorer and a key figure for Portugal. Some fans argue he should be rated higher based on output alone, though EA may be factoring in age and league quality.
⚠️ Reminder: These Are Beta Ratings
These ratings are from the FC 26 Beta, meaning they are not final. EA often makes adjustments before the full game releases based on feedback, player form, and balance updates.

🗣️ Fan Opinions Divided
As always with Messi and Ronaldo, fan reactions are split. Some believe Messi deserves the higher rating due to his continued influence, while others argue Ronaldo’s stats should speak louder than league strength. Either way, the debate is far from over.
More updates are expected as we approach the full launch of EA SPORTS FC 26.
