EA has just released Title Update #14.1 for EA SPORTS FC 25, now live across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms. While this is a smaller follow-up update, it addresses some platform-specific bugs tied to the game’s newest feature: Spotify integration.
Spotify Widget Fix for Manager and Tournament Modes
For players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, Title Update 14.1 resolves an issue where the Spotify widget failed to appear during Manager and Tournament game modes. This is an important fix for users currently part of EA’s limited Spotify test.
The update also tackles a separate bug where music was not playing correctly, again only affecting players on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Cross-Play Compatibility Maintained
For players on other platforms – including PC, PS4, and Xbox One – Title Update #14.1 does not include gameplay or UI changes. Instead, it ensures continued cross-play compatibility, keeping matchmaking smooth across versions.
Spotify Integration Still in Testing Phase
Spotify support is still in an initial testing phase, currently limited to Australia and Saudi Arabia on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. EA notes that this partnership is being closely monitored, and feedback from the community will help shape future rollouts.
