The upcoming Team of the Week 8 in EA Sports FC 26 Ultimate Team looks like one of the most balanced and exciting squads of the season so far. After a weekend filled with goals, big saves and standout displays across both the men’s and women’s game, this week’s TOTW could feature several high-profile names including Cristiano Ronaldo, Declan Rice and Lea Schüller.

As always, 23 players will receive in-form upgrades based on their real-life performances from Friday, 31 October to Sunday, 2 November. Below is our best possible prediction for TOTW 8, built on EA’s usual balance between leagues, positions and star performances.

Ronaldo’s Return to Form

When Cristiano Ronaldo finds the net in decisive fashion, FUT players start talking. The Al-Nassr striker produced another crucial performance this weekend, scoring the winner to keep his team in the title race. If included, it will be his first in-form of FC 26, and his upgraded card is expected to feature elite shooting and physical stats that make him one of the most popular forwards in the game.

Premier League Power Midfield

Two Premier League stars could headline this week’s release. Declan Rice was at his very best for Arsenal, scoring and dominating the midfield in both attack and defense. Ryan Gravenberch also stood out for Liverpool, linking play smoothly and getting on the scoresheet once again. Both cards will attract plenty of attention on the market once they go live.

Women’s Stars Continue to Impress

EA continues to integrate standout performers from the women’s game, and this week is packed with talent. Lea Schüller remains one of the most clinical strikers in Europe, Ellie Carpenter impressed with a goal from right-back and Stina Blackstenius kept her excellent form for Arsenal. This balance makes TOTW 8 one of the most diverse squads so far this year.

Lower-League Heroes and Hidden Gems

TOTW squads often include breakout stories and lower-league standouts. Yanis Begraoui bagged a hat-trick in Portugal, Kieffer Moore produced another scoring masterclass for Wrexham, and Divin Mubama stepped up with a late brace for Stoke. Expect these cards to offer fun and affordable options for hybrid and budget teams.
