A new leak that surfaced overnight is claiming eight additional Heroes and Icons are set to join EA Sports FC 26 Ultimate Team at some point in the cycle.
It is not confirmed when, or even if, these players will arrive, and there is no official link to tonight’s Winter Wildcards kickoff at 19:00 CET. For now, this is simply the latest rumor being shared in the FUT community, and it should be treated as unconfirmed until EA reveals anything.
The leaked names
The image lists the following players:
- Roy Makaay
- Andrea Barzagli
- Esteban Cambiasso
- Mario Mandžukić
- Dunga
- Oliver Bierhoff
- Uli Hoeneß
- Geoff Hurst
If the leak is real, these eight would join an already long list of Heroes and Icons available in FC 26.

Have they been Heroes or Icons before?
As far as Ultimate Team special “legacy” items go, these would be new additions in that sense. Some of them, like Mandžukić, had regular player items back when they were active, but that is not the same as being added as a Hero or Icon.
