The full list of leaked Shapeshifter players coming to FC 25 has been revealed ahead of the official release. From strikers turning into midfielders to defenders going in goal, this promo looks like it will deliver some of the most unique cards in Ultimate Team history. EA has teased the cards in-game, but thanks to trustworthy leakers and data miners, we already have a breakdown of who’s coming in this highly anticipated squad.
Here’s a full overview of every player that’s been leaked so far for the Shapeshifters promo, launching Friday in FC 25.
All FC 25 Shapeshifter players leaked
Harry Kane (CM)
Originally a striker, Kane’s Shapeshifter card places him in central midfield. He features 96 shooting, 98 passing, 94 dribbling and 92 physical. The card comes with playstyle plus traits like Finesse Shot and Incisive Pass. Kane’s real-life role as a deep-lying playmaker for Bayern Munich makes this card surprisingly fitting.
Patrick Vieira (ST)
A shocking change sees legendary defensive midfielder Vieira moved to striker. With 97 shooting, 94 pace, 96 dribbling and strong physicals, this card could dominate with aerial ability and hold-up play. Traits include Low Driven and Finesse Shot, giving him true goal-scoring tools.
Romelu Lukaku (CB)
Known for his power in attack, Lukaku has been flipped into a center back with 97 physical, 96 defending and 92 pace. He also boasts excellent passing and playstyle plus like Pinged Pass and Bruiser. Could be a real game-breaker in defense.
Cafu (CDM)
Cafu goes from right back to central defensive mid, bringing 96 pace and 97 defending with First Touch and Tiki Taka as key traits. His all-round attributes could make him one of the most complete midfielders in FC 25.
Diego Maradona (RW)
Maradona’s new right-wing version features 99 dribbling and 97 passing, but a lower-than-expected 94 pace. He comes with Rapid and Quickstep which makes him agile but maybe not lightning fast. Still likely to be one of the most expensive cards in the promo.
Vincent Kompany (GK)
EA has given Kompany a goalkeeper card. At 6’4” with traits like Long Throw and Cross Claimer, this is one of the strangest Shapeshifters we’ve ever seen. Not the most usable, but definitely a card people will try just for fun.
Jonathan Tah (GK)
Another center back turned goalkeeper. At 6’5” he might actually be more viable than Kompany between the sticks. Official stats haven’t dropped yet but this is one to watch for usability.
Mia Hamm (CM)
Previously a striker, Mia Hamm now plays as a midfielder with traits like Tiki Taka, Incisive Pass and Intercept. Her passing stats are expected to be some of the best in the entire game. Likely to be rare and pricey.
Unconfirmed Italian UCL Hero (ST)
There’s speculation around a new striker card for an Italian UCL Hero. Names being floated include Donnarumma and Ravanelli but no confirmation yet. If true, it would be another fun position switch.
Ousmane Dembélé (Position unknown)
A new card for Dembélé is expected but the position hasn’t been confirmed. His Team of the Season card was already top tier so EA will have to get creative to differentiate this version.
Jeremie Frimpong (Position unknown)
A TOTS Frimpong version was widely loved. If his Shapeshifter version tweaks his role and adds new traits, he could be meta again.
Vinícius Júnior (Position unknown)
Another repeat from TOTS but nothing has been confirmed about how Viní Jr’s Shapeshifter card will be different. Possibly a CF or RW.
Rüdiger, Bruno Fernandes, Van Persie and others from past Shapeshifters
No official confirmation on these yet but EA might bring back the dual-version format from last year. Players like Van Persie had both RW and CF cards in FC 24 which added extra flexibility.
Shapeshifter card traits and ratings look insane
Every single card revealed or teased so far includes multiple playstyle plus abilities. Most players have at least four, which makes sense given we’re now deep into the FC 25 cycle and the power curve is at its peak.
EA seems to be targeting the endgame with this promo. Ratings for all leaked cards are in the 96 to 98 range, with 99 dribbling and 98 passing not uncommon. Expect these players to be rare in packs and expensive on the transfer market, especially in the first few days.
Past experience tells us that prices may be high at launch and drop slightly during FUT Champs or the weekend. Players like Bruno Fernandes were 3.5 million coins on release in FC 24 before falling to 1.5 million. So if you plan to buy, patience could save you coins.
Evolutions and SBCs will be key to the promo
Evolutions are also a major part of the Shapeshifters promo. The Cut and Curl EVO, just released, is free and adds 
Finesse Shot+, some stat boosts and a position tweak. While not usable on every card, it works well for those needing finesse traits to complete future EVO chains.
Also, leaked SBCs are expected to drop alongside the promo. Two cards – Carlos Vela and Wilfried Zaha -have been leaked but not released. They could launch on Friday as part of the Shapeshifters campaign.
The grindable 82×20 SBC is live for another five days and could be your best bet to pack these cards. We recommend focusing on version 2 (V2), which is cheaper and easier to build.
