The Team of the Year promo always tests the budgets of Ultimate Team players. EA Sports has released a new Squad Building Challenge for Brazilian legend Sissi. She is a World Cup Golden Boot winner and a true icon of the sport. Her 90-rated card looks impressive on the surface.

However, the price of admission is steep. Players must submit fodder worth approximately 1.05 million coins to unlock this card. This places her in a bracket alongside elite market options. You need to know if she delivers a million-coin performance on the virtual pitch. We analyzed her value to help you make the right decision.

Player Profile: Technical Skill vs. Cost

Sissi operates primarily as a Central Attacking Midfielder. This position requires elite responsiveness and passing range. She offers 5-star Skill Moves and a 4-star Weak Foot. These attributes allow skilled players to navigate tight defenses effectively.

Her “Controlled” acceleration type provides a balanced dribbling feel. She feels responsive on the left stick. She turns quickly and creates space in the box. A Hunter Chemistry Style is essential here. It boosts her Pace and Shooting to competitive levels.

The main issue is the competition at this price point. A 1.05 million coin player usually dominates matches. Sissi feels “very good” rather than “dominant.” She handles the ball well, but she lacks the explosive physical speed found in other options within this budget range.

PlayStyle Analysis: The “Inventive” Issue

The biggest question mark surrounds her PlayStyle+. EA gave this card the “Inventive” PlayStyle. This trait focuses on fancy passes and context-specific flair animations. It improves outside-of-the-foot distribution and near-post finishing accuracy.

This PlayStyle+ struggles to justify the SBC price. It is highly situational. Competitive players prefer consistent traits like Finesse Shot+Finesse Shot+, Technical+Technical+, or Incisive Pass+Incisive Pass+. The “Inventive” trait rarely triggers during standard gameplay unless you force specific flair passes.

You essentially pay a premium for a PlayStyle that does not guarantee goals or assists. A central playmaker needs reliability. Sissi offers flair instead of the meta-defining consistency that a million-coin price tag usually demands.

Passing and Shooting Performance

Sissi shines in her general distribution despite the PlayStyle limitations. She possesses the base Tiki Taka and Incisive Pass traits. Her short passing is crisp. She links play effectively between the midfield and the strikers.

Her shooting is competent. She has the standard Finesse Shot trait. You can score curved shots from the edge of the box, but they lack the glitchy accuracy of the Plus version. Her 5-star skills allow for creative finishes like the McGeady Spin into a power shot.

These are solid attributes. They are simply not exceptional for the cost. You can find similar passing and shooting outputs in cards that cost a fraction of this SBC’s price.

The Verdict: Save Your Fodder

Sissi is a fun card with excellent dribbling and passing. She will perform well for anyone who completes her. However, the 1.05 million coin valuation is simply too high for what she offers in-game.

She lacks the elite “X-factor” required to justify such a massive expenditure of resources. The “Inventive” PlayStyle+ is underwhelming for a TOTY Icon. Better tradeable options exist on the market for this price, such as various versions of Lionel Messi or other top-tier CAMs.

We recommend skipping this SBC unless you have an emotional attachment to the player or a surplus of untradeable fodder that you must use immediately. She is a luxury item rather than a competitive necessity.
