Tuesday’s 6pm UK / 7pm CEST drop in FC 27 Ultimate Team is a small one: an MLS Future Stars Player Pick SBC for about 15,800 coins, where you choose one of four 84-rated Future Stars, and a repeatable 2x 83+ Upgrade for about 6,900. Leakers also say Yan Diomande’s Ones to Watch card is about to get its first upgrade.
| Drop | What it is | Status |
|---|---|---|
| MLS Future Stars Player Pick | Pick 1 of 4 MLS Future Stars (all 84), ~15.8k | Live |
| 2x 83+ Upgrade | Repeatable upgrade SBC, two 83+ gold players, ~6.9k | Live |
| Weekly Rush Points | Objective, 2x 84+ Gold Players Pack (7 days) | Live |
| Diomande OTW +1 | Upgrade via TOTW 6, per FUT Sheriff and AsyFutTrader | Leaked |
There is no new evolution and no new promo batch tonight. Future Stars Team 2 and Star Performers are still in packs until Ultimate Scream on Friday.
MLS Future Stars Player Pick SBC
One squad gives you a pick between four MLS Future Stars, all rated 84. The reward is untradeable.
- Cost: about 15,755 coins on fut.gg’s cheapest route (9 cards: 5x 85 rare, 3x 84 rare and any filler)
- Requirement: one challenge, squad rating only (min. 45 per player is the only player rule)
- Expires: in 7 days (Tuesday 27 October)
- Repeatable: no
| Player | Pos | Club | Nation | Key stats | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Niko Tsakiris | CAM | San Jose Earthquakes | USA | 83 PAC, 87 DRI, 83 PAS, 4★ skills | Live |
| Tate Johnson | LB | Vancouver Whitecaps | USA | 89 PAC, 79 DEF, 79 PHY | Live |
| Manu Duah | CB | San Diego FC | Ghana | 82 DEF, 84 PHY, 193 cm | Live |
| Frankie Westfield | RB | Philadelphia Union | USA | 83 PAC, 84 DEF, 82 PHY | Live |
FUT Sheriff posted the pick screen right after the drop:
Verdict: worth it for MLS or USA squads, otherwise a cheap gamble. About 16k is cheap for an untradeable 84, and all four are 21 years old, so they fit a Future Stars or youth-themed evo path later. Tsakiris is the pick for most players: a left-footed CAM with 4-star skills and 87 dribbling. Johnson’s 89 pace makes him the best left-back option for an MLS team. Duah and Westfield are solid but rarely beat the defenders you already own at 84.
2x 83+ Upgrade SBC
A repeatable upgrade that gives a pack with two gold players rated 83 or higher.
- Cost: about 6,895 coins (7x 84 rare) or about 7,210 if you just hand in one 87 rare
- Repeatable: once, refreshes every 2 days for 7 days
It is basically a fodder swap: you put in 84s and get two 83+ back, so you rarely lose much. Do it if you have spare 84s from packs, but don’t buy fodder for it.
New objectives
- Weekly Rush Points (7 days): a 2x 84+ Gold Players Pack.
- Heart of the Pitch flash objectives end within 24 hours, so finish them tonight.
- Still running: Ultimate Gauntlet 2 (Enciso and Gruda, 3 days), Season 1 OTW Exhibition Completionist (Diomande OTW, 2 days) and the Future Stars Academy objectives (13 days).
Diomande OTW upgrade leaked
FUT Sheriff and AsyFutTrader both say Yan Diomande’s Ones to Watch card gets +1 OVR soon, because he is coming in Team of the Week 6. TOTW 6 is expected tomorrow (Wednesday) at 6pm UK. If it holds, it is the first upgrade we track in our Ones to Watch upgrade tracker.
