With other top-tier options like TOTY Erling Haaland and the incredibly popular TOTY Clàudia Pina available, the question remains: is Mbappé undisputed number one?

Our testing suggests the Advanced Forward (++) role is his most effective position. While he can play on the wing, his skillset is wasted out wide. You want him central, riding the last man’s shoulder.

Most players instinctually apply a Finisher chemistry style, but we believe the Marksman is the superior choice for this specific card.
With 99 Pace already locked in, boosting speed is redundant. The Marksman style maximizes his Reactions, Ball Control, and Dribbling to 99 while boosting his Finishing, Shot Power, and Long Shots. Crucially, it also pushes his Strength to 87 and Jumping to 90. This makes him physically dominant in a way the Finisher style does not.
Performance: The “Game Changer” Factor
On the virtual pitch, Mbappé feels distinct from every other striker. The combination of Rapid (Basic) and Quick Step (Gold) PlayStyles makes his explosive sprint unrivaled. He separates from defenders instantly.

The Drawbacks: Passing and Stamina
No card is perfect. If there is a criticism to be made, it lies in his distribution.
With 85 Passing and zero passing PlayStyles, Mbappé cannot replicate the creative output of a card like TOTY Clàudia Pina. His short passing (91) is sufficient for link-up play, but do not expect him to thread complex through balls.
Furthermore, his 87 Stamina and lack of the Relentless PlayStyle can be an issue if you deploy him on the wing. He will tire faster than specialists like Ousmane Dembélé. However, as a central striker staying forward, his stamina bar holds up adequately for 90 minutes.
Verdict: Is He Worth 14 Million?
TOTY Mbappé is arguably the best player in FC 26. He sits comfortably in the top three cards available, rivaling prime Icons like Ronaldo Nazário (R9).
