FC 27 Destined for Glory cards keep growing for the whole 2026/27 season. This tracker follows all 36 Destined for Glory items live: league goals, assists and clean sheets since 25 September, how far each card is from its next upgrade, and which upgrades EA has already added to the card in game.

League games only, counted from 25 September for the whole 2026/27 season. Goals, assists and clean sheets come from ESPN match data and update when you open the page. A player who leaves his or her club stops earning upgrades.
How Destined for Glory upgrades work
EA counts domestic league games only, from 25 September until the end of the 2026/27 season. Champions League, Europa League and cup games do not count. The position on the card decides what counts, according to EA’s official Destined for Glory rules.

Goals and assists are added together, so 3 goals and 3 assists is enough for the PlayStyle. A clean sheet counts when the player’s team does not concede and the player started or came off the bench. If a player leaves his or her club, the card stops upgrading.
EA adds the upgrades during the season
Unlike Future Stars, you do not have to wait until February. EA adds Destined for Glory upgrades to the cards as they are earned. Haaland, Diani and Harder already have their +1 Shooting and Passing in game, and the tracker marks those upgrades as “On the card”. An upgrade the tracker shows as “Earned” is unlocked but can take a few days to appear on the card.
A card can gain up to +2 OVR, so Mbappé and Haaland can reach 93 and the 84-rated cards can reach 86.
Which cards are closest to an upgrade
There has only been time for two league rounds since 25 September because of the international break, so most cards are just getting started. Eight cards are one goal, assist or clean sheet away from their first upgrade: Mbappé, Mbeumo, Nico Paz, Maza and Nusa need one more goal or assist, while Cucurella, Konsa and Bisseck need one more clean sheet. Why some midfielders chase goals and defenders chase clean sheets
The group comes from the position on the card, not the player’s real role. Every CM counts as an attacker, so Kökçü, Veerman, McKennie, Jauregizar, Kika Nazareth and Frattesi need goals and assists. All 12 defenders in the promo, from Nuno Mendes to Tarciane, need clean sheets, and a goal from them does nothing for the upgrade.

When do Destined for Glory cards upgrade in FC 27?
EA adds each upgrade to the card during the season once the milestone is reached in league games. Haaland reached 3 goals and assists on 17 October and had his +1 Shooting and Passing in game less than a week later.
Do Champions League or cup games count for Destined for Glory upgrades?
No. Only domestic league games in the 2026/27 season count, starting from 25 September.
What happens if a Destined for Glory player transfers?
EA’s rules say the card stops earning upgrades if the player leaves the club. Upgrades the card already has stay on it.
