The next Ultimate Team promo in EA Sports FC 26 is shaping up to be a celebration of leadership. Titled Festival of Football Captains, the event is expected to launch this Friday at 19:00 CET, replacing the current UEFA Primetime campaign.
While nothing has been confirmed by EA yet, multiple trusted leakers have shared a full list of players set to feature in the promo, and it’s stacked with stars. Each of them has something in common: they have all captained their national teams at least once, whether permanently or on a temporary basis. This appears to be the core selection criteria behind the promo.
Here are the leaked players along with their predicted overall ratings:

A Celebration of Leadership
The promo seems to focus on honoring players who have worn the captain’s armband on the international stage, whether they are current full-time captains like Mbappé, Kane, and Pajor, or veterans like Ronaldo and Marta who have led their teams through major tournaments.
Even players not typically associated with long-term captaincy, such as Bernardo Silva, Tchouaméni, and Højbjerg, have all stepped in to lead their countries at least once in official matches. That consistency across the leaked squad strongly suggests EA is using international captaincy as the thematic foundation for this event.
With a mix of men’s and women’s football icons, high predicted ratings, and a fresh concept, Festival of Football Captains could turn out to be one of the most exciting promos of the FC 26 cycle so far.
Stay tuned. The official reveal is expected this Friday evening.
