Future Stars Team 2 is live
EA confirmed the release at 7pm CEST, with Gisele Thompson in the spotlight. She joins her sister Alyssa from Team 1 as the first sisters in Future Stars.
The ratings match this week’s leaks: Rayan 90 RM, Kobbie Mainoo 89 CDM, Marc Pubill 89 CB, Paris Brunner and Franco Mastantuono 88, Nathaniel Brown and Gisele Thompson 87. All 15 ratings, stats and the upgrade rules are in our Future Stars Team 2 article.
Seven of the 15 cards are already too high to gain OVR from league starts, so the 85s are the ones to watch for upgrades.
Johan Manzambi Future Stars SBC: worth 45k?
Manzambi is the Future Stars SBC of the night, exactly as AsyFutTrader and FUT Sheriff leaked. He is an 85-rated midfielder, and fut.gg prices the single challenge at around 45,000 coins. It expires in 7 days.
That is clearly more than Cora Zicai (~27k) or Xavi Espart (~30k) cost. With fresh Team 2 packs flooding the market tonight, fodder may get cheaper over the weekend, so there is no rush unless you need him now.
TOTW Upgrade SBC
A new TOTW Upgrade costs around 11,000 coins and gives one TOTW 1-5 player pack. It runs for 7 days. It is a gamble at that price; only do it with fodder you already own.
New objectives and evolutions
- Future Stardom: complete 4 of 5 challenges for an untradeable 10x 80+ Gold Players Pack (7 days).
- Future Stars SP: 4 objectives worth 1,500 SP in total (6 days).
- Ultimate Gauntlet 2: 8 of 10 challenges unlock untradeable Julio César Enciso and Brajan Gruda, plus an evo unlock (7 days).
- Future Stars Academy IV: the last Academy step. Your 83 Academy card goes to 85 OVR, with room for up to 7 PlayStyles. FUT Accountant has already called it the best evo of the year so far.
The Gauntlet is the best value tonight: two Future Stars cards for playing the game.
What’s coming next
- Max 87 Base Hero upgrade SBC: FutPoliceLeaks and FIFAUTeam both report it is coming soon (rumoured).
- New CB evolution (max 80 OVR): leaked by AsyFutTrader, no date yet (rumoured).
- Ultimate Scream: two leakers point to Friday 23 October. See our Ultimate Scream hub.
