EA has published the full patch notes for FC 27 Title Update 1.1 (v1.1.0), which rolls out on Tuesday 27 October 2026 on all platforms. It is a big clean-up patch with more than 150 changes and fixes across Ultimate Team, The Grounds, Career Mode and PC, but EA has kept its promise: there are no significant gameplay balance or tuning changes. The headline changes for FUT players are shorter pack animations, SBC filters that stay saved between Streamlined SBCs, a Claim All button for objectives and a long list of Gallery fixes.

FC 27 Title Update 1.1: Ultimate Team changes

Two quality-of-life changes stand out, and both were among the most requested by FUT players since launch:

  • Streamlined SBCs remember your filters. When you complete several Streamlined SBCs in one session, the filters you applied stay in place, so grinding repeatable upgrades is quicker.
  • Shorter pack opening sequence. EA has cut the length of the pack animation. Opening the Ultimate Scream Token Store packs and your 3x 79+ upgrades should feel a lot less slow.

The fix list is long. The ones you will actually notice:

  • SBC Storage players used in Simplified SBCs no longer show up again in other SBCs.
  • The Pathway Evolution preview no longer highlights the wrong stats in green, and goalkeeper evos now show their upgrades in green at all.
  • Goal net colours can now be previewed and actually show in matches. You also no longer see your opponent’s ball, net and pitch line colours instead of your own.
  • A freeze when converting a loan player into a Concept player is fixed, as is the Transfer Market search button that sometimes stopped working.
  • Objectives sorted by priority now show in the right order, and locked objective groups show their real count instead of 0/0.
  • In 2v2, players no longer get stuck in the net after a slide tackle in the goal area.
  • New custom tactics no longer save players in the wrong positions.
  • [PC] Mouse clicks now work on the Ultimate Team menu options where they failed before.

The Gallery gets the most attention. EA fixed eight Gallery bugs, including a false “S rank complete” display, overlapping grading animations, grades lighting up for unfinished sets, a missing notification when you complete Gallery objectives and a soft-lock on the rewards screen that forced a restart. If the Gallery has felt buggy since launch, this patch is for you.

Career Mode: press conference settings and new rivalries

Career Mode gets the only real new features in v1.1.0:

  • Two new Player Career Rivalry types. Consistency rivalries are about not being the first to fail an objective. Match Limit rivalries ask you to complete objectives within a time limit.
  • Manager Career settings. You can now turn press conferences on or off, and set how often press conferences and Unexpected Events happen. All of these, including the existing Unexpected Events setting, can be changed in an existing save, not only when you start one.
  • A cleaner Team Management screen, which now also shows more than five player roles.

On the transfer side, EA fixed release-clause bugs (you can now pay a rival club’s release clause), cheap loan-to-buy counter offers, too-high wage demands when you add performance bonuses, and veterans demanding crucial roles. Failed deals now tell you why in the buy tab.

Two scouting fixes matter for youth players: scout value reports now use the scout’s Experience instead of Judgement, and PlayStyles now show for Youth Academy players after a scouting mission. See our FC 27 youth scouting guide for the best countries to scout.

The Grounds and Clubs fixes

The Grounds gets the most fixes of any mode (44). The important ones are about getting stuck:

  • Party members no longer end up in a broken matchmaking state when the party leader leaves while queued at a Rush pitch.
  • If you lose connection while queued, you no longer stay on the queue screen forever.
  • Declining the cross-play prompt no longer gives an infinite loading screen when joining a Clubs lobby.
  • Clubs 11v11 Live Events can no longer have two goalkeepers on one team, and expired Live Events no longer show in the menus.
  • Max-level Archetypes no longer show a 0 match rating after games.

In 1v1, keepers no longer hold the ball after you call for a pass and no longer take free kicks in place of your player. 3v3 own goals from hard passes, Street Football free kicks scored without aiming and Bucket Ball balls going through walls are also fixed.

PC, stability and gameplay

PC players get several settings fixes:

  • Some graphics settings no longer need a restart to take effect.
  • Resizing the window now updates the resolution and VRAM values.
  • In borderless mode, you can now change the resolution and aspect ratio, and the frame-rate limit sticks when you switch monitors.
  • There is now a revert timer when you change the refresh rate.
  • Ultrawide visual issues and some controller detection problems are fixed.

EA also lists “various stability issues” as fixed, and a Claim All button arrives in the objective screens. For PC tuning tips, see our FC 27 PC settings guide.

Gameplay itself is untouched. The only gameplay fixes are the opening tutorial soft-lock and a PC goalkeeper mouse bug. No changes to defending, shooting, fullbacks or the passing meta. EA says new Gameplay Developer Notes are coming later this week with “adjustments that will follow” in the next title update. That is the patch the competitive crowd is waiting for.
