A free evolution called Rise From the Grave went live in FC 27 Ultimate Team at 6pm UK / 7pm CET on Monday 26 October. It takes a right winger rated 74 or lower straight to 80 OVR without a single match. The night also brings a repeatable 3x 79+ Upgrade SBC and a new set of Daily Knockout objectives worth 360 Ultimate Scream Tokens. And a few hours earlier, EA revealed what Title Update 1.1 changes when it lands on Tuesday 27 October: faster pack animations, SBC filters that stay put, and a long list of Career Mode fixes, but no gameplay tuning.

Rise From the Grave: a free 80-rated winger
Rise From the Grave is a free, no-games evolution for right-sided wide players. You don’t play a single match: the five levels only need training time (just under 5 hours each, so about a day in total), and the card ends at 80 OVR with big boosts to pace, dribbling, shooting and passing.

The boosts are capped, so the stats land in the same range for most players: around 84 pace, 76 shooting, 76 passing and 82 dribbling. Defending and physical barely move, so pick a card that already has some strength if you want a winger who survives contact.
Who to use: cheap silver wingers with good base pace and four-star skills keep their extra stars, because the evo only lifts skill moves and weak foot to three. Barcelona’s Roony Bardghji is a good example: his 74 RW silver costs only about 2,200 coins and comes out at 80 with 84 pace, 82 dribbling and his 4★/4★ intact.

Verdict: do it, it’s free. About two-thirds of community votes call it a weak evo, and against Ultimate Scream cards an 80-rated winger won’t start for long. But it costs nothing, needs no games and runs until early December, so it’s an easy way to turn a 2K silver into a usable bench winger or an 80-rated SBC card. 3x 79+ Upgrade SBC and Daily Knockout objectives
- 3x 79+ Upgrade (about 6,500 coins): one challenge for a pack of three gold players rated 79 or higher. It’s repeatable and runs for 7 days. It replaces the 79+ Player Pick that expired at 7pm. Worth repeating only with spare fodder you already own.
- Season 2 Daily Knockout Tournament Bonus: four objectives for playing the Daily Knockout Tournament, worth 360 Ultimate Scream Tokens and 50 SP in total. Winning 5 matches pays 200 tokens; scoring in 5 matches, winning 2 and scoring 1 goal pay 40 each, and finishing the set adds another 40 tokens and 50 SP. They run for 11 days. By FUT Accountant’s count, a player who has done every Ultimate Scream objective can now reach 900 tokens with tonight’s set, enough for Verón (900) or the Ultimate Scream Team 1 Player Pack (800) in the Ultimate Scream token store.

EA posted the Title Update 1.1 Pitch Notes at 4pm UK on Monday. The update releases on Tuesday 27 October, and the full patch notes follow the same day.

The FUT changes are small but welcome. Faster pack animations and SBC filters that stick around will save real time when you’re grinding upgrades like tonight’s 3x 79+. If you’re hoping for changes to the meta, wait for the Gameplay Developer Notes that EA promised “later this week”, which will discuss adjustments for the next title update.
